Tucked discreetly away behind the elegant black double doors of a beautiful, grade-II listed building at number 11C West Halkin Street in Belgravia, is the UK’s – indeed Europe’s – only private members’ club devoted entirely to women.

Grace Belgravia is a safe, sophisticated and elegant place not only for women to meet, network, have a bite to eat or a cocktail but also to have access to a fully comprehensive spa integrated with medical and wellbeing services.

Established in November 2012, Grace was co-founded by the dynamic CEO, Kate Percival MSc and Dr Tim Evans, Apothecary to HM The Queen and The Royal Households, and the first doctor to establish an integrated private General Practice incorporating the best in conventional, complementary and alternative healthcare. Kate is passionate about empowering women, providing them with the tools to be the best they can be and nurturing them through the ‘seven ages of womanhood’. As she explains: ‘There has been a paradigm shift which means that, increasingly, women are seeking out other women’s company. Women have become less competitive with each other and the idea of sisterhood is stronger than it has ever been.’

Kate’s ambition was to create a place where women could feel cared for, intellectually stimulated and enjoy a complete wellbeing experience that dealt with more than just pampering, believing that to thrive in today’s society we need to invest in our greatest asset – our health – with a truly integrated approach.

Every service and facility is created with women in mind – internationally recognised medical experts and therapists create an individual blueprint for each member’s health, with preventative medicine and ageing well informing every aspect of their experience, from the clinic to the spa, gym to the juice bar and healthy restaurant.

The Grace Restaurant menu is filled with delicious, nourishing and balanced dishes. During the day, it is a vibrant venue for business meetings, post-workout snacks, and a place to relax or socialise with friends. Come 6.30pm, men too are welcome to come and enjoy the space as it transforms from day to evening, with the lighting of candles, into the perfect dining destination where guests relish superfood cocktails and superb cuisine with signature twists.

The Grace Gym and Grace Spa are fitted out with equipment and experts who understand the female body. In the latter, you will find an extensive and spoiling range of treatments given by therapists who are carefully selected for their advanced signature treatments. Everything is results driven – from tension relieving massage to body treatments that tighten, tone and detoxify.

For the mind, there is a dynamic cultural programme and networking calendar to stimulate both intellectually and encourage new friendships. The incomparable Grace Medical Clinic takes care of every aspect of health, be it physical or emotional – and is open to men and non-members too. Few clinics offer such an extensive array of treatments – with an emphasis on preventative medicine as the key to wellbeing. Innovative services include Telomere Testing to work out your cell age and Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy to optimise hormonal health and ageing well.

Non-members can enjoy Grace Belgravia’s delicious healthy food with Grace to Go – the takeaway and delivery service (also available on Deliveroo) – and Your Grace – the club’s catering service – both are designed to take the stress out of healthy eating for everyone.

A variety of membership options offer flexibility for busy women and make sure that Grace is fulfilling its philosophy of making a real difference to women’s lives every day, helping them to be the best versions of themselves. As a satisfied member sums up: ‘Three words: my saving grace’.
