Recoco only acts for private individuals. To initiate the service a registration fee is charged, followed by a commission. Members of the Recoco team have just a few clients at any one time to ensure adequate time and personal attention is given to each. ‘Sometimes clients will end up buying something totally different to what they thought they wanted,’ says Nigel. ‘We find we’re able to make suggestions and show people areas they hadn’t considered, which is extremely satisfying.’ No matter how successful people are in their own field, when it comes to buying property, emotions dictate.
