This summer, two enchanting outdoor shows, The Wind in the Willows and The Dream Fairies- Adventure through Bubble Land, will be performed in the magical setting of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew from 22 July to 28 August.

Based on the story of The Wind in the Willows, this production brings to life Kenneth Grahame’s classic story of a life on the riverbank with Ratty, Mole, Badger, Otter and, of course, Mr. Toad.

This critically acclaimed outdoor theatre production delivers music, songs and laughs There is fun for young and old as the Head Chief Rabbit transforms audiences into rabbits with a waggle of the ears and a wiggle of the nose.

The Wind in the Willows asks you to pack a picnic, pack the kids and join in the fun! Suitable for adults and children of all ages.

In The Dream Fairies, the adventurous Honeysuckle meets the fairies from A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Honeysuckle has lost her wings and the Dream Fairies – cheeky Mustardseed, fluttery Moth, daring Cobweb and sweet Peaseblossom – have flown off course and are trying to find their way back to Fair Land. Together with the help of all the little elves and fairies, they go on an adventure through Bubble Land to find Honeysuckle’s wings and the special map to guide them home.

Suitable for children aged 3- 6, this production is an interactive adventure full of sing-along, clap-along songs plus bubbles, acrobatics and a sprinkle of magic dust that will enthrall the young ones throughout the school holidays. Small audience members are invited to come dressed as a fairy or an elf.

Prize includes:

A family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children to Theatre on Kew, on the weekday performance of your choice between 24 July- 28 August 2017. Ticket includes entry to the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. See the website for all performance dates and times.

The Wind in the Willows performance takes places in two separate locations with a short walk between them. Performances last approximately 90 minutes. The Dream Fairies performance lasts approximately 60 minutes. It is advisable to bring a picnic blanket, folding chair or cushions to sit on, as there is no seating provided.
