The Savoy has teamed up with British perfumers Penhaligon’s to create the ultimate indulgent Mother’s Day treat for 2017. Mothers will be treated to a traditional afternoon tea for two in the Thames Foyer as well as a stunning bouquet of Savoy Flowers and a bottle of Penhaligon’s new eau de parfum – Savoy Steam. £200 for 2 people.
Gordon Ramsay’s two Michelin stared Pétrus is partnering with Judith Blacklock Flower School on 27th March to host a Mother’s Day flower arranging masterclass followed by a three course lunch by Head Chef Larry Jayasekara. Upon arrival, guests will be treated to a glass of champagne, before a glorious day of mother-son/daughter fun begins. £120pp.
Petersham Nurseries will be hosting a masterclass with Georgie Newbury from Common Farm Flowers on how to ‘Grow Your Own Cut Flower Patch’. It’s the perfect Mother’s Day activity to treat mummy to this year. Georgie will share her knowledge, giving tips on colour, scent and successional planting to ensure continuous flowering throughout the seasons. All participants will then enjoy a two course seasonal lunch at Petersham’s Café. £135pp.
London Shell Co
Hop aboard The Prince Regent canal boat and enjoy a bite at the London Shell Co, a glorious floating restaurant this Mothering Sunday. They will be hosting three special Mother’s Day cruises serving an exquisite seven-course seafood menu and Earl Grey Sparkler welcome drink, whilst gently floating along the Regent’s Canal to Camden Town and back for just £45.
Hotel Café Royal, Regent Street is celebrating the occasion with the British tradition of taking afternoon tea in the Grade II listed Oscar Wilde Bar. Enjoy a selection of savoury and sweet delicacies, in addition to your choice of over 20 tea blends, accompanied by a live pianist.
Why not treat mum to St Martins Lane’s Chocolate Dreams afternoon tea, created in partnership with British cocoa growers Hotel Chocolat. Served until 30th April in The Den, this tea will include a selection of specially crafted chocolate treats and an indulgent hot chocolate menu. £40pp with unlimited hot chocolate.
