Where To Celebrate Bonfire Night In London 2023
Ally Pally’s Fireworks Festival
Every year, tens of thousands of revellers descend on the grounds of Ally Pally for their iconic fireworks display, which dates back a whopping 150 years. It’s the biggest fireworks festival in London, complete with music, an ice rink, a funfair, and a huge bonfire. Visitors can also get merry at the UK’s largest German-style beer tent, and feast on food from one of the many street food stalls.

Wimbledon Park Musical Fireworks Display
Wimbledon Park’s annual musical firework display will return on 4 November, with two showings: family-friendly ‘Magic’ themed musical fireworks at 5.15 pm, and a later ‘One Hit Wonders’ themed display at 7.15 pm. Plus there’s a street food village and funfair to enjoy on site. If you’d prefer to see a display on 5 November, head to the sister event at Morden Park.

Battersea Park Fireworks
The award-winning annual fireworks display at Battersea Park never fails to disappoint, with more than 50,000 visitors attending each year. Saturday night is all about winter warmers, both food and drink, while Sunday starts slightly earlier and is perfect for families.

JOIA Rooftop
Peer over Battersea’s firework display at JOIA Rooftop, the open-air bar on art’otel Battersea’s 16th floor. It’s the chic bar’s final rooftop party of the season, featuring cocktails and DJs – with the special addition of hot sangria – in the cool air, with Battersea’s display lighting up from 8.10pm. Then the party will move to the warmth of JOIA Bar inside.

Richmond Fireworks
The firework display at Richmond Athletic Ground is ideal for families, this year taking on a space theme. From 4.30pm, visitors can enjoy funfair rides, with plenty of food and drink available – from burgers to crepes to mulled wine.

Waltham Forest Light Show Spectacular
For an eco option, head to Waltham Forest Town Hall for a special light show spectacular, featuring a breath-taking display across the Hall’s façade, plus light walkers, fire jugglers, and entertainment from Fool’s Paradise and Drum Works. Plus, visitors can enjoy delicious street food from Kerb+ alongside a full-service bar from Big Penny Social.

Thames Clippers
Take an alternative approach to Bonfire Night and view London’s fireworks from the Thames. River bus service Thames Clippers offers a multitude of water routes to catch the perfect glimpse of fireworks. From travelling to Battersea Power Station Pier to spot the fantastic display, to viewing Newham’s bonfire spectacular in the Royal Docks, a starlit journey on the Thames promises the most magical of bonfire nights.
