Five of the Best Floral Delivery Services

Bloom & Wild

Bloom & Wild

Bloom & Wild is a British florist that makes sending flowers online a joy, with their easy to use website and apps. The trick with Bloom & Wild is that your gift recipients don’t need to be home to receive their flowers, as Bloom & Wild flowers are freshly cut, each bloom individually netted ‘in-bud’ and hand-packed in the innovative letterbox packaging allowing customers to enjoy the full life of cut flowers – from bud to bloom. They also offer 2-hour delivery throughout London Mon-Fri, from £20.

Floom

Floom

Floom Flowers

Floom is a boutique floral delivery service making changes in the floral industries founded by Lana Elie. We spoke to Lana here:

Tell us a little bit about Floom and how you started it (in 2016)? Floom is a website for ordering beautiful flowers but, above all, we support the best local, skilled florists who might not otherwise have an online presence.

I’ve always sent flowers and was one of those people who spent hours trawling the internet for the right florist in different cities when I needed one. It always took me so long, only to end up on a website (if they had one) that barely showed me anything about the florist and their bouquets, and then I had to make international calls, and try to communicate a really personal note with a language barrier. It felt like there had to be a simpler way, so I set out to create a service that was straightforward without compromising on the quality, uniqueness and service that independent florists provide.

Can you tell us a bit about yourself? I was born in Paris and raised in Bali. I’ve since met a lot of people who have moved to Bali from London or travel there regularly and can’t believe I’d ever want to leave the ‘island paradise’ – I’m quite happy to have settled somewhere though with a reliable postal service and all those other things that people here take for granted.

Of course it was an amazing place to grow up and I loved my childhood deeply. I have such fond memories of treating all that amazing, unspoilt lushness as a never ending natural playground, and it’s probably where the seeds of my love for plants and flowers were first sewn…

Floom ensures that they support local and independent florists with their delivery service, taking the finest flowers and making them available to you with the click of a button, from £25.
