If you’ve ever camped out at Silverstone for a weekend at the British Grand Prix, you’ll know how thrilling a whole weekend of racing at this historic track is. The cars, the noise, the atmosphere; being a F1 fan isn’t essential, but when you’re waking up in a soggy two-man tent and queueing for a shower, it certainly helps. How about if you swapped your leaky pop-up for glamping in a beautiful Shikar tent? Swapped the plastic pint for a glass of champagne? Exchanged the crowded hills for a private viewing platform? Camp Kerala At The British Grand Prix
Camp Kerala is best known for its luxury 5* camps at the likes of Glastonbury festival and this year it is set to elevate the British Grand Prix experience for a handful of lucky guests. Attendees will be able to enjoy the drama and excitement of the race from the Grandstand or from Camp Kerala’s private viewing deck, which has unbeatable views of the track overlooking the Hangar Straight. And there will be no more queueing for a hot dog, with access to fine dining and drinks from the Camp Kerala restaurant and bar behind you.
The camp will be situated in an exclusive plot within the inner circuits of Silverstone, with accommodation in luxury Shikar tents, which will be fully heated and feature duck-down duvets, sheepskin rugs and Egyptian cotton sheets. Should the British weather show up for the weekend, guests will feel well protected by the solid woos and carpeted floors, and they can enjoy access to electricity ports, WiFi, showers and en-suite toilets plus a daily turn down service.
Tickets also include all-inclusive trackside drinks and luxury dining in Camp Kerala’s restaurant and bar, access to the on-site spa, live music, entertainment and an afterparty, plus there will be access to a Q&A with Jenson Button and Karun Chandhok and the option of a supercar track-driving experience, in partnership with DTO Motorsport.
