See The Breakup Monologues Today
Poplar Union’s What’s Love Got to do With It? season is very seasonal indeed at the moment. Tonight’s installation is a night of comedy storytelling hosted by award-winning comedian, author of ‘Is Monogamy Dead?’ and Radio 4 regular, Rosie Wilby. Arrive to The Breakup Monologues in time for a pre-emptive cocktail before hearing heartache-filled, hilarious and horrifying break up stories. Multi award-winner Pippa Evans; Edinburgh Fringe 2017 Best Show nominee and BBC Talent Hotlist featured Elf Lyons; festival regular Sarah Bennetto; and inventive multimedia performance artist Paula Varjack are tonight’s guest who will grin and bear their souls.
The Breakup Monologues was first commissioned by Bradford Literature Festival and premiered to a sell-out crowd there in July 2017. Tickets bookable at Poplar Union.
