Join in on the fun at Secretts’ hallowed pumpkin week, so popular that last year, over 30,000 pumpkins were harvested at the event. Priory Farm
Priory is putting on the dog this month with a line up exciting enough to get even the most fed up members of family to rally. A spooky trail from 18 October-4 November will have kids seeking out spooks and spiders in the deep dark wood on The Discovery Walk to claim horrid prizes. Pumpkin pickers will be pleased to know the farm has opened the Pumpkin Palace at the entrance to The Discovery Walk this year to ensure social distancing can be maintained. Foxes Farm
Amble around one of two pumpkin patches and play games like the corn maze for free and without need to book – just pay for the pumpkins you pick! Crockford Bridge Farm
Crockford Bridge Farm occupies around 80 acres of green belt land in West Surrey. The farm is one of the oldest continually farmed farms in Surrey and is mentioned in the Domesday Book. You can visit any day from 2 October, but from 17 October there will be much larger selections of pre-harvested pumpkins available. If you want to physically pick your own from the ground, there are specific days and you’ll need to book ahead. Piglets Adventure Farm
There’s plenty of pumpkin-themed fun to be had at Piglets Adventure Farm, from homegrown pumpkin picking to spooky Skeleton Stilt Walking, a Mysterious Maze and the Little Monsters Laser Rave. Be sure to visit the farm’s gorgeous little piglets in the Piglet Maternity Ward too. The farm is open every weekend throughout October and then every day from 24 October until 1 November.
