Join in on the fun at Secretts’ hallowed pumpkin week, so popular that this year, over 30,000 pumpkins will be harvested at the event. Also during pumpkin week, from 23-28 October, will be tractor rides, corn blasting, biscuit decorating, photo booths, a hay stack play area and seasonal menu with award winning Black Barn Sausages and pumpkin cakes. Secretts, Hurst Farm, Chapel Lane, Milford, Surrey, GUB 5HU.


Priory Farm

Priory is putting on the dog this month with a line up exciting enough to get even the most fed up members of family to rally. A spooky trail from 19-31 October will have kids seeking out spooks and spiders in the deep dark wood on The Discovery Walk to claim horrid prizes. Brave the eerie Jack-o-lantern display and choose from hundreds of home-grown pumpkins. Priory Farm, Sandy Lane, South Nutfield, Redhill, Surrey RH1 4EJ

Foxes Farm

Foxes Farm

Amble around one of two pumpkin patches and play games like the corn maze for free and without need to book – just pay for the pumpkins you pick! Open every weekend from 29, September and the whole week of 20-28 October for prime half term hijinx. Foxes Farm, Green Lane, Aldham, Colchester, CO6 3PR, and Watch House Farm, Wash Road, Basildon, SS25 4ER.


Four Winds Farm

Don your wellies and pick your own pumpkins at this small, family run farm from 25-27 October. BBQ, face painting and children’s potato digging are also on the docket! Pierson Agriculture at Four Winds Farm, Penshurst Road, Bidborough.

Crockford Bridge Farm 


Crockford Bridge farm occupies around 80 acres of green belt land in West Surrey. The farm is one of the oldest continually farmed farms in Surrey and is mentioned in the Domesday Book. The pumpkin picking weekends may have passed, but visit on 20, October for the Pumpkin Patch Event, where Crockford’s Corner is transformed into a fun-packed area complete with thousands of pumpkins for sale, as well as games, pumpkin carving and other activities. Take note of the ice cream parlour on site! Crockford Bridge Farm, Weybridge Surrey, KT15 2BU
