Theatres may be closed right now but with new and exciting musicals set to hit the stage post-lockdown, there is plenty to look forward to. Here we bring you the best theatre to look out for in 2021.

Enjoy post-lockdown with a night of romance, glitter and glamour with one of the UK’s most extravagant burlesque Broadway musicals. The much-loved movie starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor is hitting the big stage in a new musical mash-up that you will not want to miss. From Autumn 2021, 


David Tennant (Doctor Who) returns to the West End to star in GOOD, a timely and powerful play directed by Olivier award-winner Dominic Cooke, telling the story of John Halder – an intelligent and honourable man that must adapt his life in pre-war Germany to survive. The political story will leave viewers questioning how the average person may be caught up in a movement that leaves all morals behind. From 21 April 2021,

The highly anticipated re-make of the fairy-tale classic Cinderella will open at the Gillian Lynne Theatre this year with a brand-new score by theatre legend Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber. Starring Carrie Hope Fletcher (Les Misérables) with a script by Emerald Fennell (Killing Eve), this new twist on the beloved bedtime story will make for the perfect post-lockdown treat. From 30 April 2021,

Disney lovers rejoice! One of the most successful animated movies of all time is hitting the West End with a star-studded spectacular cast. Michael Grandage’s musical adaption of Frozen will see Stephanie McKeon and Samantha Barks take the lead as sisters Anna and Elsa in this family-friendly production. From 2 April 2021,

Following the life of high school student Marty McFly who travels back to the 1950’s, the well-known blockbuster film Back To The Future is brought to the stage for the first time. Produced by the movie’s co-writers, Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis and featuring a brand-new score alongside the much-loved songs and characters, this hilarious theatre adaption is set to be a hit. From May 2021,
