This September renowned Grosvenor Square restaurant 34 Mayfair is launching new wellness series: 34 at 34, a programme of talks from industry experts surrounding health and wellbeing. As suggested by the name, each talk lasts for 34 minutes, led by journalist and C&TH columnist Alice B-B. The series kicks off on 24 September with Paddy Archer, founder of CaliFlow, London’s newest boutique movement studio. He’ll be sharing insight from his unique ‘Calisthenics’ classes, with a focus on how to introduce mindful exercise into a training schedule. Paddy will be joined by Laura Mead, co-founder of athletic apparel brand Varley, who will be discussing the highs and lows of launching a brand in the competitive world of wellness, as well as looking at how to practise self-care when juggling a busy career.
After each talk, visitors will come together for a nutritious brunch at 34 Mayfair, with a special menu created by head chef Harvey Ayliffe. Guests can then continue the feel-good vibes with a complimentary treatment, class or product from the event’s speaker(s). Other subjects being addressed in the series include men’s mental health, reconnecting with nature, and new cellular physical therapies – with dates and speakers yet to be announced.
Events will take place in The Emin Rom, 34 Mayfair’s unique private dining space, which is filled exclusively with works from iconic artist Tracey Emin.
