Feeling blue this January? Head to one of Battersea Power Station’s uplifting events, designed to brighten up a dreary month. Highlights include:
- An Evening with Liz West, 16 January: Enjoy cocktails, canapés and a talk from Liz West, one of the UK’s leading visual artists. Learn about how the experience of seeing colour and light can enhance wellbeing, and how multi-sensory art can stimulate our senses to invoke physical and psychological responses. £10pp
- Boom & Brunch, 19 January: Sweat it out at a Boom Cycle spin class by the river, followed by a hearty brunch at Francesco Mazzei’s Fiume. £30pp
- Musical Fridays at Cinnamon Kitchen: Live music will be playing at Cinnamon Kitchen every Friday in January from 8pm, with a vocal and piano duo playing an eclectic range of pop and jazz to wine and dine to. Chris Rand, who has played sax for some of the UK’s biggest artists including Squeeze, Yolanda Brown, Bad Manners, James Hunter’s Six, Jools Holland, Charlie Watts and Mick Taylor, will be bringing a host of London’s top musicians along every Friday night.
- Wine Courses at Vagabond’s Urban Winery, 19 January: Learn all about wine at Vagabond Battersea Power Station’s wine school with winemaker Gavin Monery – lots of sampling included! £50pp
