You might have heard of the Bristol Jazz & Blues festival if you love all things jazz. You might also have heard of it because it’s been around for seven years, and has become a cultural staple in Bristol’s music event calendar, attracting around 8,000 visitors each year. This year, the festival is back with its best line-up yet, and 3 days of free music, dance events, and performances by some of the best jazz and blues musicians in the world.

Since Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald were the headliners at Bristol’s Colston Hall, the English city has been known for its connection to the blues and jazz genres of music. The Bristol Jazz & Blues festival was born seven years ago to celebrate this history, and each year, the festival and its attendees make sure this illustrious connection between city and music is long-continued.
The festival will host performances at St George’s, Anson Rooms, and O2 Academy Bristol.
