Bringing together 30 of the most exciting names in British fashion as well as emerging talent, the BFC Designer Pop-up is back (and, at three times the size of last year’s, certainly bigger than ever) at Bicester Village. Curated by the British Fashion Council, the selection represents the most creative and innovative designers in the UK.
The pop-up is ideal for discovering talented new faces in fashion and finding unique items, with the breakthrough designers showcasing their latest collections. Have your pick from Grace Wales Bonner’s impeccable tailoring, statement shoes by Camilla Elphick, palmer//harding’s sculptural shirts and sustainable pieces from Phoebe English, amongst many others.
As well as these game-changing newcomers, the pop-up also has a strong line-up of established labels. From Erdem’s romantic prints and embroidery, floor-sweeping gowns from Huishan Zhang and Mary Katrantzou’s colourful creations to pieces from Paper London, Racil and fashion-pack favourite Rixo – not to mention signature footwear from Sophia Webster and Nicholas Kirkwood – the concentration of coveted designers and diverse selection makes it a shopping experience like no other.
This year’s pop-up also includes a wide range of accessories, lifestyle products and gift lines, from new and already-prominent brands. J&M handbags from the softest calf leather, jewellery by the divine Alighieri or luxury phone and travel accessories by newcomers Chaos would all make for wonderful Christmas gifts – though considering the hard choices to be made, you would be forgiven for buying a little (or big) something for yourself.
Don’t let the fabulous clothes and accessories on display fully distract you from the interior – the walls and floor feature a striking immersive black-and-white custom print by award-winning London textile designer Diane Bresson, who created it exclusively for the pop-up.
Until the end of October, 9am-8pm Monday-Wednesday, 9am-9pm Thursday-Saturday
50 Pingle Dr, Bicester OX26 6WD
