Start 2020 on a positive note at Carousel’s uplifting pop-up: four days of talks, Q&As and workshops focused around all things wellness.
Whether you’re wondering how to stay healthy throughout the winter or looking for tips for getting involved with Veganuary, all the talks taking place at The R&R Pop-Up will offer handy life hacks on how to shake that post-Christmas slump.
Meditate with Julian Lavender of the London Meditation Centre, stretch it out at a Fit Flow Yoga Class, or simply sit back and relax as IGPP qualified Isabel Fernandez gives you a chair massage. There’s also a takeover from Hackney’s Refinery Studio, a sound bath with Michelle Cade from Mind Like Water, a Q&A with gastrointestinal surgeon and author Dr Andrew Jenkinson, and a breathwork class followed by a discussion on how we can be prone to treating ourselves without compassion or respect.
While you’re there be sure to pick up some healthy snacks from the ground floor – brands including Coconut Collaborative and BOL Foods will be in residence to fulfil all your detox needs. An array of homemade teas and kombuchas will also be available to sip throughout the day, alongside a selection of self-care books to peruse. What better way to kick off your January health kick?
wThe brainchild of cousins Ollie, Will, Ed and Anna Templeton, Carousel acts as a hub for pop-ups, parties, workshops, events and guest chef residencies.
