Horses, drinks, millinery, floral dresses and linen suits – the 10th annual Chesterton’s Polo in the Park is back this June with its Ultimate Summer Celebration. It’s the event that marks the start of the summer social season, and what a way to start it off. The 3-day summer celebration will be in honour of the events’ 10th birthday and will be celebrated in style as always.
Whether you enjoy polo or not, Chestertons Polo in the Park is a typically British summer celebration. It’s one of the world’s largest polo tournaments and has green, sunny champagne gardens to lounge around in where you can enjoy the sports, eat the food and listen to chilled summer music.
Chesterton’s Polo in the Park: 10th Birthday Summer Celebration is divided into three themed days. The first, on Friday 7th June, is International Day. This is where the Flannels England Polo Team will compete with a rival team for a thrilling match. Saturday 8th is Ladies Day, a day for dressing up, heading out and indulging in sporting with a side of champagne (or champagne with a side of sporting!) with a group of friends.
Finally, Sunday 9th is Finals Family Day. There’ll be a match to find out who the tournament winners are and plenty of entertainment for kids, such as the Little Hooves Kids Club and the Sharky & George Pitch Invasion. Aside from this, you’ll also find top restaurants, street food, cocktail bars, luxury shopping and champagne gardens.
