Get crafty for the weekend at the Crazy Fox Market, the ultimate destination for lovers of local creativity and independent brands. Located within South London’s vibrant Mercato Metropolitano, ‘shop-till-you-drop’ in a bustling market filled with emerging, unique businesses offering hand-crafted pieces and workshops for those looking to get crafty themselves.
The buzzy market has been supporting up and coming artists and designers for almost a decade now, providing a cool and creative space where visitors can admire, purchase and engage with an abundance of ‘indie’ brands and businesses.
With over 40 traders at the market each day, there will be plenty to shop and do with home-spun brands such as Storm in a Teacup, 20 Seventh Letter, Beho Studio and Tatawild Handmade all making an appearance. Peruse hand-crafted accessories, children’s toys, homeware, stationery, illustrations and more whilst indulging in an array of delightful treats from the market’s many independent food stalls.
Why not have a hand in some specialised craft-work yourself with one of the Crazy Fox Market’s workshops? Create your own resin earring studs with accessories outlet Little Dot Loves, explore the restorative art of macrame plant hanging with The Crafty Makers, or have your very own colourful portrait painted by artist Viktorija Semjonova – even better, have one painted for a friend!
Italian artist Naomi Vona will also be hosting a collage nostalgia workshop, where visitors will learn to transform vintage portraits using a range of colourful materials, vintage photographs and postcards; include your own photographic memories if you wish.
