Enjoy an evening feasting with fellow foodies at the idyllic Daylesford farm in the Cotswolds. Providing the weather plays game, you’ll sit outside on a long banquet table under fruit trees for the classiest picnic of all time. You’ll dine on a top quality menu of the best seasonal, organic ingredients around, from fragrant strawberries to heritage tomatoes to tender peas. There’s BBQ satay chicken, grilled corn on the cob, turmeric & fennel seed with bulgar wheat salad, fresh burratta, grilled Aberdeen Angus burgers, charcuterie and plenty more. Children, meanwhile, can enjoy jugs of elderflower cordial with berries, hot dogs, chicken wraps, summer berry pavlova and raspberry, lemon & almond tart. In the event of bad weather, the picnic will take place in Daylesford’s light and airy Dairy Barn, which will be suitably decorated for the occasion.
Daylesford’s story began over 40 years ago when founder Carole Bamford decided to turn her family’s farmland into sustainable organic farming, first in Staffordshire and then in the Cotswolds. It is now known as one of the UK’s most sustainable farms, producing meat and poultry, fruit and vegetables and dairy products. They also have have a number of restaurants, shops and cafes across the country, plus a Cookery School at their Cotswolds farm.
