Kids driving you wild in the summer holidays? Let them go wild for real at Daylesford Wildwise Children’s Summer Event in Kingham, Cotswolds.

10am – 4pm each day
Daylesford near Kingham, Gloucestershire, GL56 0YG
Perfect for young explorers who love the great outdoors; let the kids go wild for a week with Daylesford Wildwise Event in the Cotswolds. Aimed at adventurers aged 8-12, this hands-on activity week will include bushcraft, storytelling and natural world experiences.
Attendees will learn varied and vital skills such as den and shelter building; the art of firecraft, the key principles and practice of knife work and campfire cookery, so they’ll be able to take the lead on your next camping trip. They’ll also learn more about their surroundings, with plant, bird and wildlife identification workshops, learning to recognise each animal’s language and mammal tracking.
The programme is dependent on group size, ages and weather conditions, allowing nature and the elements to determine the activities of the day and how to survive in the wild. Children should dress appropriately for outdoor activities. A Daylesford packed lunch is included, (and sure to be delicious). Children can attend individual day sessions, or for the whole week, although there are no overnight stays; children attending for the full week will need to be dropped off and collected each day.
