To celebrate its fall-winter 2019-2020 ready-to-wear collection, Dior has launched a pop-up in the heart of Harrods, running throughout the month of August. The fall-winter collection by Dior’s Artistic Director Maria Grazia Chiuri is a celebration of British culture and the pop-up will reflect this, giving customers the chance to go behind the scenes of the new collection and experience what the catwalk show was like.
Iconic fashion brand Dior has always had strong ties to England and its individual, unique culture. The historic department store Harrods makes the perfect setting for the pop-up, which will feature pillars of traditional British culture including a telephone booth and a black taxi, clad in the motifs that feature throughout the collection. This gingham print in red, white and blue covers the pop-up area and a part of Harrods’ exterior too.
The pop-up will feature an inspirational curation of ready-to-wear clothing, bags and footwear too, as well as a customisation service. A particular piece of note is the best-selling Dior Book Tote which will be available to buy in leather, checks or a version exclusive to the pop-up with a striking union jack design. Customers can also shop sneakers designed by Dior’s Artistic Director, chic accessories and jewellery and Stephen Jones’ bob hat in more than one version. Plus, if you’re heading off on holiday, head to the well-timed summer pop-up before jetting off in style by picking up statement travel pieces from the TravelDior line, available in Dior Oblique canvas exclusively at the Dior Harrods Pop-Up and just two other boutiques. There will also be vanity cases, travel-sized perfume cases, trolleys and luggage labels as the cherry on top of a delectable travel collection.
