Ascot’s Summer Mile Family Raceday has something for all the family. Alongside the horse racing, guests can enjoy live music, picnic on the lawn, and sip champagne and cocktails at one of the many on-site bars. For the second year running, there’s also a dedicated family zone with plenty of attractions for children including clip clop pony and fairground rides and workshops.
There are plenty of dining options to choose from, including the fine dining Parade Ring restaurant and the fifth floor On 5 Restaurant, which boasts panoramic views of the racecourse. Alternatively, enjoy afternoon tea on the sixth floor of the grandstand, or dine in the Horsewalk Restaurant in the King Edward VIP Enclosure, where mothers will be treated to a free main course.
Located in Berkshire near Windsor Castle, Ascot is one of the leading racecourses in Britain. They run various family-friendly events throughout the year, including a spring raceday to kick off the season, a fireworks raceday in November and a Christmas raceday in December.
