Renowned for being one of the prettiest dining spots in London, Petersham Nurseries are celebrating the first anniversary of their Covent Garden branch with a four-day festival of live music, workshops and al fresco feasting. Events include yoga hosted by Lululemon and Kim Hartwell, brunch with nutritionist Rhiannon Lambert, pasta making workshops, floristry classes, and afternoon tea served in the Floral Court. Prosecco and oysters will be served from the Indian Cart throughout the weekend, alongside live music sets from the Earth Agency, Love Missiles DJ Set and The Wook (Soul and Rare Groove).
On Sunday 26, celebrate the bank holiday weekend at bottomless brunch, served in one of their restaurants, La Goccia. Alternatively if you’re feeling something more holistic, head to the Neal’s Yard Remedies Workshop, where you’ll get the chance to blend a bespoke facial before crafting a Petersham flower bouquet. On Monday 27, the Courtyard will be transformed into a market square, hosting a selection of Petersham Nurseries’ suppliers alongside an all-day La Goccia grill. They’re also hosting a morning panel discussion with Action Against Hunger, with live music from City of London Sinfonia from 12-2pm.
The original Petersham Nurseries is located in Richmond, with the Covent Garden branch joining the collection last year. Here there are two restaurants: La Goccia and The Petersham, a deli, shop, florist and courtyard, Floral Court.
