Looking for some interiors inspiration? Keen to revamp the garden? Head to the Ideal Home Show, returning for its 111th year with over 600 exhibitors. This year’s theme is ‘Best of British’, and it’s the perfect place to get ideas for everything from decorating your living room to maximising space in the office to upcycling.
A life-size show home called the Evolving Home will be on display, with a focus on adaptable and open-plan living designed to maximise light and space. Green fingered visitors can peruse the four themed gardens, which range from modern contemporary to a grower’s garden. And for fans of the Royal Family, there will be four specially designed Rooms for Royals, including a 70s inspired vintage living room for Charles and Camilla and an open-plan kitchen diner for Meghan and Harry.
Elsewhere you’ll find a virtual reality theatre experience hosted by gadget guru Lee Baldry, an advice hub offering free one-on-one consultations with on-site experts, and a pamper lounge offering free treatments – because who doesn’t love a quick mani-pedi? A number of celebrity guests will be hosting demonstrations and workshops on stage, including Nick Knowles, Phil Spencer, Joe Swift, Max McMurdo and Skinny Jean Gardener (Lee Connelly).
