If the thought of tasting beer doesn’t fill you (literally) with bloated dread and instead makes you salivate as you imagine knocking back light pints on a warm Summer’s day – then this is the event for you. The London Craft Beer Festival is back this August for its 7th festival, it’s biggest one yet, hosting over 80 different breweries and with over 500 beers on tap, ready to be enjoyed. This year’s festivities will make the London Craft Beer Festival the biggest celebration of beer in the UK, focussing on the independent, modern craftspeople and companies behind some of the most delicious emerging beer brands on the market.
“We’re now seven years old, growing each year and with an increasingly exciting and diverse range of beers and brewers” – Greg Wells, London Craft Beer Festival’s co-founder
To whet your rapidly brewing appetite for beer, here are some of the highlights of this year’s festival, with more to be announced in August. From New York comes Kings County Brewing Co., Interboro, and Evil Twin. From Europe; Brasserie Popihn from France and Cerveja Letra from Portugal. And, representing the UK’s craft beer scene are Northern Monk, Pressure Drop, Two Tribes and Bohem.
Finally, to turn the beer festival into so much more, guests can expect an amazing array of food and music to make The London Craft Beer Festival an all-around celebration. Past names have included Luca, Pitt Cue and Gunpowder providing the food, plus Two Door Cinema Club and Toddla T with the music – so keep up to date with this year’s festival to hear the full line-up.
