Made London, the annual contemporary craft and design fair, is returning to Marylebone this October for another four design-filled days of unique arts and crafts, showcasing the works of over 100 contemporary innovators, artisans and makers.
Located within the spectacular 19th Century trinity church One Marylebone, designed by the renowned neo-classical architect Sir John Soane, the fair will showcase an array of high-quality crafts and design pieces, from jewellery, fashion and style accessories, to textiles, ceramics, and beautiful handcrafted furnishings. Shop for your home, find an authentic early Christmas gift, or treat yourself to some new bespoke garments.
Curated by contemporary art and craft events organisers Tutton & Young, the highly-anticipated event will enable guests to interact with a number of arts and design-makers, including stained glass mosaic and ceramics creator, Amanda Anderson, Belgian jewellery designer and founder of Oxx Jewellery, An Alleweireldt, and textiles weaver and designer, Anna Champeney, whose stunning Bauhaus and Annie Albers-influenced pieces are produced from her studio all the way in Galicia.
Other announced and must-visit exhibitors include silversmith and jewellery designer Annabet Wyndham, who creates beautiful pieces using silver and vitreous enamel, Anne McKenzie, whose joyous botanical calligraphy and Kew Gardens-inspired tree banners make the perfect handmade addition to any home, and Alison Dupernex, creator of colourful cashmere, cotton and silk clothing collections inspired by nature’s own textures.
Whether you’re looking to gift a loved one a special piece of handcrafted jewellery, purchase some new ceramics to add a touch of authenticity to your home, or are just an avid arts enthusiast looking for some high-grade design inspiration, there’s a little something for everyone.
