Rooftop dining, live music and a three-course meal; sound good? This February, 6th-floor bar and restaurant Madison, famed for its in-house DJs and lively music nights, will be launching a new weekly series, Madison Unplugged. Each week, the sophisticated venue will welcome an emerging or established artist to perform a live acoustic set, whilst diners delight in a specially curated three-course dinner with a complimentary glass of Moët & Chandon.
Kicking off the series on 14 January will be singer-songwriter Karen Harding, whose successful house single ‘Say Something’ reached the UK top ten in 2014. On the menu, guests will enjoy an array of tantalising dishes, from tuna tartare with pickled lotus root, sesame seeds, yuzu and mirin, to Argentinian sirloin steak and a delicious cherry mouse with chocolate crumble.
Taking place every Tuesday evening, a number of renowned and upcoming British artists have been confirmed as part of the line-up, including emerging pop artist Etham (28 January), UK Eurovision finalist Michael Rice (4 February), and 2014 X Factor finalist Jack Walton (21 January). Other artists include Michaela (18 February), Harry Marshall (25 February) and Benedict Cork (11 February) – reportedly an upcoming favourite of Elton John’s – with more acts throughout March to be announced at a later date.
With spectacular views overlooking St Paul’s and the city skyline and expertise in hosting a range of rooftop DJ sessions and events, Madison is the ideal venue to host the weekly live acoustic series. A fantastic opportunity to enjoy the restaurant’s flavourful food and cocktail offering and experience an acoustic live show in an intimate setting, Madison Unplugged will be sure to brighten up your Tuesday evenings.
