Get into the Christmas spirit with Mimo London, the San Sebastian-born cookery school boasting locations across Sevilla, Mallorca, The Algarve and London’s renowned Cathedral Street. The foodie experts are hosting a series of festive market tours through the capital’s illustrious Borough Market, where guests will experience an insightful introduction to the market’s spectacular independent produce, as well as create their own Christmas hampers with a personalised selection of goods.
Kicking off at Mimo’s London HQ, just a stone’s throw away from Southwark Cathedral and overlooking the lively market, the tour will take visitors on a journey through the historic London retail space – believed to date back to the 12th Century – interacting with artisan traders and building up their basket of goodies from brands such as Blackwood Cheese Company, Italian charcuterie Bianca Mora, Rosebud Preserves, and decadent chocolatiers Artisan Du Chocolat.
Guests will then indulge in a delicious array of Spanish food back at the cookery school, comprising of dishes curated by head chef Joseba Lasa, and washed down with exquisite wines selected by specialist sommelier, Nobuko Okamura. A selection of Mimo crafted treats can also be added to the hampers, including a delightful orange flower honey and Mediterranean gordal olives.
