Obession 19 Food Festival at Northcote

What

Northcote’s annual gastronomic food festival, Obsession 19, is back for its 19th year with a stellar line-up of top chefs from around the world. Across the 17-day event – which kicks off on 18 January – a number of different Michelin-starred chefs will be cooking at Lancashire hotel Northcote’s restaurant.

The line-up includes:

  • James Lowe, Lyle’s, Shoreditch, London: 25 January
  • Hywel Jones, Restaurant Hywel Jones, Lucknam Park, Colerne, Wiltshire: 26 January
  • Sayan Isaksson, Esperanto, Stockholm, Sweden: 1 February
  • Matt Orlando, Amass, Copenhagen, Denmark: 2 February
  • Nigel Haworth, Chef Ambassador, Northcote, Lancashire: 3 February

Guests will be greeted with a Champagne reception, with the option of including a wine flight with their dinner. Fancy making a weekend of it? Why not stay at one of The Northcote Hotel’s 26 bedrooms. Alongside its Michelin-starred restaurant, The Northcote also has a cookery school, pretty garden and carefully curated wine cellar filled with unique wines.

Obsession was created in 2001 by Nigel Haworth, the hotel’s former executive chef and joint managing director Craig Bancroft, with the aim of celebrating great food, wine and chefs from all over the world.
