Bubbles and brunch fan? Aren’t we all. Luckily long-standing Mayfair restaurant Quaglino’s are here to fulfil all our boozy brunch needs with their new Q Champagne Brunch Series, running every Saturday during April. Tasty dishes and fizz can be enjoyed alongside live music, with every event taking on a different theme: swinging sixties on 13 April, The Great Gatsby on 20 April, and the fifties on 27 April.
Staying true to its name, the menu features both breakfast and lunch options. All your classic egg brunch dishes are on offer (Florentine, Royal and Benedict) alongside meals that definitely veer towards lunch territory – think truffle risotto, Jersey oysters, lobster Thermidor and steak. All of this can be enjoyed alongside bottomless prosecco or champagne, with a selection of tasty desserts on offer too such as treacle tart, panna cotta, and homemade ice cream.
With almost 90 years of heritage behind it, Quaglino’s has a rich history. Since opening in 1953 it’s attracted high-end crowds, and was frequented by the likes of Elizabeth Taylor in the fifties. Today it remains an opulent, glitzy venue, so dress to impress – and if you opt for the bottomless bubbles, don’t blame us for the Sunday hangover…
