Where? The National Gallery

What? Dutch artist Jan van Eyck painted a number of masterpieces throughout his life. A particular iconic work of his is The Arnolfini Portrait (1434) which inspired the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood to create a new way of painting. The National Gallery brings you an array of spectacular old masters paintings that will leave you entranced. Other artists on show include Millais, Rossetti, and Holman Hunt.
