While it may not be the Rolling Stones live in concert themselves, it’s a close second. The Rolling Stones’ Havana Moon concert back in 2016 is a show that remains one of the band’s most iconic; the beloved group put on a free outdoor concert in Havana, playing an electric 116-minute set list for a crowd of around half a million people (still a record show in Cuba). The performance was captured in the concert film ‘The Rolling Stones: Havana Moon’, which is now finally available to view – but it’ll be a screening with a difference.
On an 11-night tour around the UK, music-lovers will be able to take part in a recreation of that special night. Alongside the screening (which will be displayed on an ultra HD video projection) there will be Cuban designers and spectacular set design that mimics that of the original show. Of course, expect a world-class sound system that promises to offer the next best thing to hearing the Stones live.
An immersive and one-of-a-kind experience, the event will transport fans back to the streets of Havana to live out one of the most seminal concerts in Rolling Stones history.
