In the latest in their series of RA lates, the renowned gallery is opening its doors after dark once more for a themed, immersive night of creativity, ideas and entertainment. This time the evening revolves around the theme of Transcendence.
Inspired by the human themes of their exhibitions – (re)birth, gender, mortality, eroticism and the relationship between the body, mind an soul – the evening’s agenda invites you to celebrate life’s greatest forces through sensory activities, drag, holograms and more.
Tickets include after-hours entry to the highly esteemed Bill Viola/Michelangelo: Life, Death, Rebirth exhibit where the acclaimed contemporary video artist Bill Viola’s work is strikingly set against Michelangelo’s famous sketches. You’ll also have access to The Renaissance Nude, which brings together the works of artists like Titan, Raphael, Leonardo, Dürer and Cranach.
Once you’ve had your art fill, an eclectic line-up of DJs and immersive parties await.
