A week-long experiential event for avid foodies and art enthusiasts, The Jones Family Kitchen – listed by Steak Society as this year’s Top Steakhouse in London – is hosting an immersive ‘Safari Supper’ dining experience at Belgravia’s Eccleston Yards, where diners can indulge in delicious dishes whilst engaging with wonderful works of art.
In celebration of the annual London Design Festival, guests will move between five artistically renovated ‘sheds’ designed by a group of up and coming artists and art school graduates, with each constituting a different dinner course, from pre-dinner drinks – a delightful glass of Pommery champagne – to starters, mains, dessert and digestifs.
Worried that you won’t like what’s on the menu? No need. Every evening, the sheds will serve up a different theme of food, including that of an all-vegetarian ‘Meat Free Monday’, a ‘Beef Celebration’ apt for meat-lovers, featuring The Ginger Pig butcher’s barbecued chateaubriand, and a Friday ‘Festival of Fish’.
Art and design themes for the creatively curated sheds have not yet been revealed, so diners are sure to be in for a treat. But if you can’t make the evening, visit the sheds in the daytime where a craft market arranged by local artists will be taking over the hub, an ideal spot for creatives and shoppers alike.
Having launched last year, Eccleston Yards is Belgravia’s lifestyle and wellbeing-centred community hub boasting 19 independent retail spaces for fashion, food, fitness and drinks. The Jones Family Kitchen lies at the heart of the Yards, famed for its delicious cocktails and premium cuts of meats, where visitors can relax and soak up all the action from the creative and innovative urban area.
