Eat, drink and dance the day away at Smoked & Uncut, one of the UK’s most glamorous boutique summer festivals. Taking place across three locations on three separate dates, the festival is a cheerful celebration of good food and good music.
All venues – THE PIG, THE PIG-near Bath, and Lime Wood – offer picturesque countryside settings, which lend themselves perfectly to al-fresco feasting and day-long drinking. Smoked & Uncut is renowned for its large family-style pop-up restaurant feasts which see some of the country’s best chefs cook up a storm to sold out communal tables. Angela Hartnett and Mark Hix will be returning to the festival this year, and visitors can expect an eclectic array of festi-food including a plant-based BBQ, a curry truck and pizzas from Gozney Ovens.
Mitch and Mat’s Crab Shack will also be returning, a project from seafood legends Mitch Tonks and Mat Prowse, who run a string of award-winning restaurants on the south coast. Drinks will be flowing all day too, with pop-ups from Hambledon Vineyard, Chase Distillery and Casamigos Beach Bar, among others.
This year’s music line-up is yet to be announced, but if last year is anything to go by we can expect some big names – Kaiser Chiefs, The Vaccines and Imelda May all made appearances on the 2019 main stage.
Fancy making a night of it? Nab a glamping ticket, which gives you access to a special Friday night feast hosted by Angela Hartnett, as well as a stay in a luxurious bell tent, complete with ‘tent’ service and a campfire breakfast.
