If a festive trip to the theatre with the kids is in order, but the word ‘panto’ brings you out in hives, check out the latest Julia Donaldson tale to be brought to life by Tall Stories, the Olivier Award-nominated company.
An adventurous young girl and her seafaring father reimagine the story of a tiny snail’s incredible trip around the world, inspired by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s beloved ‘The Snail and the Whale’ children’s book. Directed by Toby Mitchell, the play tells the story of an adventurous young snail, longing to see the world, hitching a lift on the tail of an enormous grey-blue humpback whale. The performance will last 55 minutes and is suitable for those aged four and up. The performance promises live music, storytelling and plenty of laughs.
30 November 2019 to 5 December 2020, performances 11am, 2pm and 4pm, date dependant.
