Where? Tobacco Dock, London
What? Two days of sweaty, stretchy and thought-provoking fun
How? Tickets from £35, bookable via eventbrite.co.uk
Banish all thoughts of lonesome weightlifting in an air-conditioned gym while everyone else is outside enjoying the summer. What better way to prep for the season ahead than by joining hundreds of others at Tobacco Dock for lululemon’s fourth annual Sweatlife Festival.
Last year’s event sold out, so book in early and start rounding up your exercise crew for a weekend of classes, talks, treats and experiences. Lululemon have secured a smashing line-up of London’s best exercise studios, including Barry’s Bootcamp, Third Space, Kobox, Psycle, Crossfit and Un1t London, and world-renowned teachers and trainers will be on hand to help whip you into shape ahead of the summer. Tickets include one Studio class and one Sweat class, as well as unlimited yoga, meditation and talks to help you achieve the ultimate zen.
‘Sweatlife is the largest lululemon community experience in Europe, a transformational event inspiring and empowering new and experienced guests to live a life they love.’
Take your practice up a level by joining expert-led classes, or discover some of the most exciting new offerings on the ever-evolving fitness landscape to keep things fresh. There are sessions featuring farmers walks and sled dragging (not as terrifying as it sounds), Olympic weightlifting masterclasses and Beyonce-inspired yoga flows, as well as more classic barre, boxing, running, spinning and reformer pilates classes for you to choose from – but book fast, as the hard-to-pin-down instructors mean that classes sell out quickly!
But it’s not just exercise that’s on offer. Sweatlife Festival also focuses on the vast importance of general wellbeing and health, so make sure to take advantage of the discussions and workshops taking place throughout the day. We’re particularly excited to hear the brilliant Bryony Gordon talk about mental health and to learn about the science behind wellness from three experts.
