What?
Keen for a reboot this January? Searcys at The Gherkin are putting on a series of chef and wellness events to celebrate ‘The Art of Being’, where an all-female line-up of artists, cooks and yogis will be heading to one of London’s most famous landmarks to share their take on how to live life to the full.
Highlights include:
- Ruby Bhogal’s Special Guest Menu, 7 January-10 February: Bake Off finalist Ruby Bhogal has created a special menu celebrating seasonal, ethically sourced ingredients. Dishes – which are inspired by her childhood – include a hearty soup of Jerusalem artichokes with Burford brown egg; a pot roast guinea fowl with turnips and winter broth; and baked squash with barley, sprouts and walnuts.
- Rhiannon Lambert’s Supper Club, 25 January: Nutritionist Rhiannon Lambert will be hosting a three-course supper club followed by a Q&A with Rhiannon where guests are invited to learn the secrets of her cooking. Dishes will be nutritious, delicious and wholesome, such as beetroot and goats cheese salad, cod with fresh mussels and kohlrabi, and a signature Searcys Bakewell tart for dessert. £59pp
- Clotilde Lataille’s Watercolour Classes, 27 January and 3 February: Watercolour artist and Lillet aperitifs ambassador Clotilde Lataille will be combining her two passions under one roof: art and hospitality. She will be running two watercolour classes, as well as creating a unique menu of Lillet-based cocktails which are available to try at the Iris Bar. Tickets from £15
- Yoga Classes with Yogasphere: Twice weekly yoga classes will be running from 12-30 January against the backdrop of London’s skyline. Classes take place on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. After the Wednesday classes there will be short wellbeing talks, while after the Sunday classes there will be 30-minute sound baths. £25pp
