Voices At The Table No.11

April 1 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Voices At The Table

Voices At The Table continue their run of evenings filled with food for thought with a special event taking place at Marylebone’s Carousel. As usual, the line up includes an exciting mix of voices across the literary, performance and food worlds. Enjoy a cocktail upon arrival, followed by nibbles from Carousel while you watch the performances. Speakers include:

  • Chef, food writer and restauranteur Tim Anderson
  • Actor, poet and rapper Nabhaan Rizwan, who starred as the lead in BBC drama Informer
  • Chetna Makan, finalist on The Great British Bake Off 2014
  • Writer, poet and cookbook author Ella Risbridger
  • Comedian Nigel Ng
  • Chef, writer and KinoVino founder Alissa Timoshkina
  • Novelist Lizzy Barber
  • Food writer and author Laura Goodman

Voices At The Table is the brainchild of Miranda York and Anna Sulan Masing. Motivated by a desire to change the way people talk about food, the pair founded TOAST Festival in 2012, a two-day event featuring speakers, a pop-up shop, a bespoke coffee bar and an art exhibition. Since then they’ve expanded the brand to Voices At The Table, hosting various events with opportunities for discussion around food, as well as recently launching a podcast, which features live recordings from the events. Their upcoming event at Carousel will be the 11th in the series.
