Hay Festival is one of the world’s most beloved literary festivals. It runs globally, in Mexico, Spain, Peru and Colombia, and this year, the Hay Festival returns to one of its many homes, Wales, for its 32nd instalment. Spread from May 23 – June 2, thousands of literary lovers will flock to Wales to celebrate the best of literature. There’ll be workshops, food and drink, forums and countless events. To celebrate another year of Hay, we’re thrilled to have partnered with the festival by putting on a talk with Ed Vaizey, Jean-Christophe Chopin, Annoushka Ducas, Edeline Lee, Geordie Willis. The talk, hosted by these famous faces, will look at what makes a good brand, looking at how brand building has changed over the years and how these entrepreneurs have found success. The talk will be led by Ed Vaizey, former Minister of Culture. The expert panel then features Jean-Christophe Chopin, founder and CEO of the LandRover Born Awards and of born.com; Annoushka Ducas, jewellery designer and founder of Links of London and her eponymous brand Annoushka; Edeline Lee, fashion designer; and Geordie Willis, creative director of Berry Bros & Rudd.
The Hay Festival has long been aligned with Country & Town House, and once again this year they are one of our very special Great British Brands. It was first created in 1987 as a not-for-profit organisation and now, 30 years later, the festival is responsible for attracting 45 million visitors to 30 locations around the globe. We’re thrilled to be travelling to Wales for the perfect summer literary event, Hay Festival, and hope to see all our readers there! Make sure to follow us on Instagram for behind the scenes action of the panel discussion.
