Whether you’re popping in for a drink between shows or sitting down to a relaxing dinner at the end of a busy day, these are the most fashionable restaurants and bars in town. From stalwarts like The Wolseley to aesthetic members’ clubs and glamorous cocktail spots, discover where all the cool kids from the fashion world will be hanging out this year.

London’s Most Fashionable Restaurants

Bacchanalia

Everyone’s talking about Bacchanalia, the latest restaurant from Richard Caring – the man behind Annabel’s. Everyone from Maya Jama to Naomi Campbell and Daisy Lowe has been spotted there – and no doubt it will be a popular hub for glamorous Fashion Week attendees. Think lavish interiors courtesy of industry maverick Martin Brudnizki alongside a suitably luxurious Greek-inspired menu featuring caviar, oysters, lobster pasta and more.

The Maine Mayfair

Set within a historical townhouse in Hanover Square, The MAINE Mayfair was always going to be a magnet for fashion types. It features unashamedly lavish interiors alongside a menu to match (think mother-of-pearl chandeliers and a lobster-ridden menu), and has hosted everyone from Vogue editor Edward Enninful to designer Riccardo Tisci since it opened in 2021. Pop in to try its Lunch Prix Fixe menu, which features some of the restaurant’s signature dishes like New England clam chowder and steak tartare.

The NoMad Restaurant

With its cool New York vibe and sultry interiors, it’s no surprise the first European outpost of the NoMad hotels group has become a hotspot for celebrities since it opened in 2021, with everyone from Alexa Chung to Nick Grimshaw and Lena Dunham booking rooms. Its glass-roofed, three-storeyed restaurant has become Instagram-famous, with a suitably luxurious menu offering everything from lobster pasta to sharing steaks. Easily one of the most fashionable restaurants in town.

The Twenty Two

Everyone from Jeff Bezos to Naomi Campbell has been spotted at this Mayfair members’ club, so there’s no doubt it will be a hub for fashion types this February. The venue boasts some of the most aesthetically pleasing interiors in town, spearheaded by Natalia Miyar – think bevelled mirrors, dark blue velvetted banquettes and brass chandeliers. Its restaurant, meanwhile, serves a suitably stylish menu which channels British seasonality with a nod towards Mediterranean cuisine. And, if you saunter down some prowling leopard carpeted stairs, you’ll find deep red walls that enclose a plush, louche, sexy basement situation that’s screaming out for an afterparty.

Sexy Fish

One of London’s most fashionable restaurants year-round, during London Fashion Week the restaurant and bar are always packed to the brim with the stylish crowd. The Frank Gehry and Damien Hirst installations add a big dose of glitz, and the Asian fusion menu provides delicious fuel for the party that goes on until late.

The Wolseley

A firm favourite amongst London’s culture and fashion lot, and always great for celebrity spotting. The best place to go for breakfast before hopping in a taxi to the first shows of the day – if you can get a table.

Annabel’s

Private members’ club Annabel’s is as fashionable as ever post-refurb, and a known favourite of the Vogue lot. Will you be lucky enough to get an afterparty invite? Don’t miss its Amazon-inspired façade, either.

The Dukes Bar

Everyone who’s anyone knows that the best martinis in town (and possibly the world) are served by Alessandro Palazzi at Dukes in St James’. Beware: they’re devilishly strong.

Floral by LIMA

Peruvian cuisine is loved for its freshness, flavour and colour – and the fact that it’s surprisingly healthy. Expect to find the ‘in crowd’ hanging out at this fabulous restaurant filled with inspiring prints and texture between shows.

Harry’s Dolce Vita

Harry’s La Dolce Vita is impossibly glamorous and is located opposite Harrods, making it an essential stop for high-end designer shoppers. Order anything with truffle.

Farmacy

Keeping healthy is vital during Fashion Week – and can prove difficult with all the backstage champagne and post-show parties – so refuel at Farmacy in Notting Hill, the hippest vegan restaurant in London. There’s even a wicked CBD oil-infused cocktail that’s great for relaxing after a long day of back-to-back shows.

Quaglino’s

This venue off Piccadilly still exudes old-school glamour with a hint of the OTT, with its iconic central bar, overflowing flutes of champagne and regularly scheduled live jazz. Greyhound Café

With its brilliant street food, buzzy atmosphere and cool interiors, this Thai-fusion restaurant attracts an international crowd who are in town for the shows. Expect to see big foreign department store buyers sharing a few DIY ‘Complicated Noodle’ dishes with their top clients.

Chiltern Firehouse

The constant stream of black taxis and chauffeur-driven Bentleys on Chiltern Street are evidence of London’s big names within the walls of now-legendary Chiltern Firehouse. Enjoy food from Michelin-starred chef Nuno Mendes, especially the crab doughnuts (which we have the recipe for here).
