Doing Sober October or trying to simply curb your winter aperitif intake? Going alcohol-free doesn’t have to be boring. Give these delicious mocktail recipes a try for all of the taste, less of the sore head.

Atopia’s Rhubarb & Ginger Spritz

50ml Atopia Rhubarb and Ginger

Top with Fever Tree Raspberry and Rhubarb Tonic

Garnish: Rhubarb curl

Add all ingredient to glass over cubed ice.

Stir, top with fresh ice and garnish.

Amplify Espresso Martini

Amplify’s ‘Amplified Espresso’

50ml Amplify distilled non-alcoholic spirit

15ml honey syrup

60ml cold brew coffee

Pinch of salt

Shake all ingredients hard with ice, double strain into coupe glass and garnish with grated orange zest.

50ml Pentire Adrift

3 Nocellara olives in brine

5ml olive brine

3 black peppercorns

5ml maple syrup

Wedge of grapefruit (squeeze)

Combine all ingredients and serve over ice, garnished with an olive.

50ml Seedlip Garden

5ml Elderflower extract

Top with fresh grapefruit juice

Shelina Permalloo’s Re-energising Elixir with Rowse Manuka Honey

Serves 6

2 tbsp ground turmeric

6 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp lemon zest

250g Rowse Manuka 10+ Honey

1/2 tsp coarsely ground black pepper

1 tbsp fresh ginger (skin on)

Place all ingredients into a sterilized jam jar and shake together until all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed together.

When ready to drink take 1 tbsp of the mixture and add to hot water with a slice of ginger and fresh lemon to accompany it.

This mix will stay fresh for up to 5 days in the fridge.
