Among Annoushka’s best selling collections are The Imperial Collection and Touch Wood. The earrings, rings and earring drops of The Imperial Collection celebrate the striking forms and colours of the ‘kokoshnik’ or traditional Russian head-dress. The inspiration for the collection came from Annoushka’s discovery of a set of photographs of her Russian grandmother wearing a head-dress.

Annoushka’s Russian heritage is a strong theme in her designs. Her mother was Russian and Annoushka spent much time in Russia with her as a little girl. Her love of Russian design and culture has equally inspired the recent Touch Wood collection, which pays tribute to the striking beauty of the domes and spires of traditional Russian churches. This collection continues Annoushka’s celebration of Russian tradition and passion for colour, movement and above all, story-telling.

‘My mother always wore a wooden ring that she would instinctively touch in moments of uncertainty, and this sense of comfort is something I have sought to capture with this collection.’ – Annoushka.
