Harry Winston has reopened its flagship salon in London following a nine-month renovation – and it’s top of our Christmas shopping hot spots.
If you’re struggling to feel festive, a visit to the newly-refurbished house of Harry Winston (‘King of Diamonds’) to shop for something sparkly should get you firmly in the mood.
Visiting New Yorkers will feel right at home, as the salon façade, restored in accordance with the guidelines for historical buildings, now features the iconic Harry Winston archway. The new entryway, which uses traditional Portland stone from Dorset, a hallmark of the Georgian buildings in the Mayfair area, draws references from the brand’s iconic Fifth Avenue Flagship.
The new layout is set across three-floors, with Harry Winston’s bridal and fine jewellery collections on the ground floor, high jewellery on the first floor and Harry Winston timepieces on the second.
The salon features a soft taupe and grey colour palette with custom designed black lacquer and antique bronze furniture, bespoke chandeliers, hand beaded silk walls and antique accents. If you’re looking for something special this Christmas, make an appointment for some help from one of Harry Winston’s expert advisors.
Oh, and if you’re passing, pop in and see the 43-carat emerald on the second floor.
